State-owned bus company Volánbusz on Tuesday said it will take delivery of 503 buses in a HUF 32.9 billion order in the coming months.
Under contracts signed earlier in July, Volánbusz will get 365 Credobus models from Kravtex, 88 Mercedes models from ITE BUS & Truck and 50 vehicles from Volvo. The new buses will be delivered by early 2022.
Most of the vehicles will be put on routes in counties in the east and the west of the country.
The order will reduce the average age of Volánbusz's fleet to 11 years.
