Hungarian State Railways (MÁV) will not operate trains at Budapest's Déli Pályaudvar (Southern Railway Station) on the first weekend of November due to complex maintenance work, according to an announcement on the Facebook page of Mávinform.

Most trains will arrive at Budapest-Kelenföld instead of Déli and depart from there to rural, suburban destinations, the statement said.

The work will be noisy both day and night, so MÁV asks for the patience and understanding of people living around the station, it added.

The stoppage of trains at Déli on Nov. 4-5 will also affect some Friday evening and Monday morning trains.
