E-commerce Expectations Unfavorable

Unprecedented pessimism prevails among internet retailers, the leading partner of GKID, Norbert Madár, told business daily Világgazdaság.
The bad mood is the result of several things. The rise in prices and inflation are hindering spending, and lately, the euro exchange rate has also increased the price of products.
According to Madár, although the current crisis has a moderate effect on the labor market, the confidence of the population has disappeared; many people feel more uncertain about the future and have postponed spending.
This was also roughly the situation that characterized the Christmas shopping season, the report notes.
