Slovenia Industrial Output Rises in February
Slovenia's industrial production rose by 2.7% on the year in February, rebounding from a revised 3.5% fall in the previous month, the Ljubljana-based Statistical Bureau of Slovenia (SURS) said in a statement on Wednesday.
This marked the first increase since February 2023. The country's industrial output for mining & quarrying grew by 32.7% year-on-year, in the manufacturing sector it rose by 3.1%.
The output of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, meantime went down 18.1%.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity rose by 3.3% in February, slowing from a revised 7.4% growth in January.
