Bosnia Industrial Output Rebounds in February

Industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 2.1% year-on-year in February, recovering from the revised 6.4% fall in January, figures from the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS) showed, marking the first month of growth in half a year.

Industrial output of intermediate goods grew 5.2%, while capital goods rose by 1.9%.

The output decreased less for durables (-6.5% vs -14.8% in the prior month) as well as for non-durables (-2.4% vs -5.2%). Production of energy advanced 1.9%.

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity jumped by 5.9%, following a 1.7% advance in January.
