MISZ Signs Strategic Coop Deal With Several Organizations

The Hungarian Innovation Association (MISZ), the National Innovation Agency and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the meeting of the electoral board of the Hungarian Innovation Association on the campus of Óbuda University yesterday.

The agreement aims to further increase the efficiency of government innovation efforts, thus contributing to the strengthening of the competitiveness of Hungarian businesses and the development of the economy, the association told MTI on Wednesday.

In the further part of the meeting, MISZ president Gábor Szabó reported on the activities of the period since the last meeting, and MISZ VP Zoltán Birkner informed the participants about the new regional director structure.

Levente Kovács, rector of Óbuda University, spoke about the importance of innovation education in higher education, and Imre Hild, CEO of Obuda Uni Venture Capital (OUVC), presented the role of venture capital in innovation and outlined OUVC's activities to date and future plans.
