Private equity company Mid Europa Partners has parted with its stake in listed Hungarian haulier Waberer's in transactions closed on Thursday, a disclosure posted on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange shows.

The transactions were announced in December and were expected to close in Q1 2021.

Trevelin Holding, a unit of Hungarian property developer Indotek, now holds 30.99% of Waberer's shares; MHB, owned by Ferenc Mike, holds 21%; and HIGH YIELD, owned by György Wáberer, the former owner of the company that still bears his name, holds 20%.

Wáberer sold his stake in Waberer's to Mid Europa Partners in 2016. Afterward, he went into real estate and set up a foundation to improve the lives of underprivileged Hungarians.

Waberer's continued to make losses in 2020, but its management has pointed to improvements that will advance the company toward profitability in the long term.
