Das WeltAuto Used Car Sales Fall to 6,278 in 2022

Das WeltAuto sold 6,278 cars last year, down from 7,442 in 2021, the used car business of Volkswagen importer Porsche Hungaria said in a press release.

Das WeltAuto noted that around 830,000 used cars changed hands in Hungary in 2022, 1% more than a year earlier, citing figures compiled by Datahouse. Sales at used car dealers reached 213,000, it added.

Close to half of used cars transferred to new owners last year were in the lower mid-category. The most popular brands were Opel, Volkswagen, and Suzuki.
