Szijjártó holds talks with diplomats on Putin's visit
Hungary’s foreign minister Péter Szijjártó yesterday held consultations with foreign diplomats on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Budapest.
The foreign minister had talks with Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German foreign minister, Federica Mogherini, the High Representative/Vice-President of the European Commission, and Colleen Bell, the U.S. ambassador to Hungary.
Szijjártó reiterated to the diplomats that Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán informed Putin that Hungary can only accept peaceful ways in which to solve the conflict in Ukraine.
