Orbán, Varga meet transport association leaders
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and National Economy Minister Mihály Varga met leaders of the Hungarian Road Transport Association this morning to discuss the situation in the industry, Orbán’s press chief Bertalan Havasi told Hungarian news agency MTI.
The meeting took place in Balatonvilágos, western Hungary, near Lake Balaton. The association represents 3,000 Hungarian haulers, passenger transport enterprises and private entrepreneurs that operate about 40,000 vehicles and employ 60,000 people, MTI said.
