Ministry: State healthcare services to become more efficient
Hospitals will not be shut down, the quality of healthcare services will not deteriorate; head office overhead, however, will be decreased and processes will become more efficient, secretary of state Zoltán Kovács announced during a press conference, regarding the much anticipated reforms of the national healthcare system, napi.hu reported yesterday.
The planned reforms are also aimed at resolving a number of other issues, including low wages and lack of career incentives within the sector, following concerns of a growing outflow of doctors from Hungary.
