Hungary, Ukraine Could Sign Border Traffic Deal on Monday

An agreement on border traffic between Hungary and Ukraine could be signed on Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a post on Facebook on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Szijjártó said a new border crossing would be opened while the capacity of existing crossings would be expanded.
Szijjártó said a bilateral working group established earlier to address the restoration of the rights of the ethnic Hungarian community in Transcarpathia, in the west of Ukraine, had met virtually on Thursday.
He noted that progress was necessary on 11 points outlined at a meeting in Uzhhorod in January.
