Fidesz’s popularity continues to decline

Party Popularity

Fidesz lost 2pp of its support base after a sharp, 10pp drop in the last two months of 2014, amounting to a loss of 1 million voters in only 3 months, a report published by Ipsos revealed. According to the latest survey by the opinion research institute, Fidesz would have 23% of the votes of those eligible to vote, or 1.8-1.9 million voters.

The opposition’s support remains virtually unchanged. Far right Jobbik has 14%, MSZP 11% and LMP and DK 3% each. The number of indecisive voters decreased further to 40%, which means that 3.3 million voters do not have a party preference at the moment.
