Monday 10:37, March 8th, 2010
Hungarian construction company TriGranit would like to sell 50% of the Bonarka City Center shopping center it opened in Krakow, Poland last year, the business daily Világgazdaság reported, citing TriGranit investment director Zsolt Szabó.

Szabó told the newspaper that TriGranit is targeting a sale price of over the €200 million in loans the company obtained to complete the shopping center.

Szabó said that institutional investors have shown a serious interest in acquiring the stake in the Bonarka City Center, noting that TriGranit would continue to operate the shopping center.

TriGranit completed the €330 million initial phase of the €500 million Bonarka City Center project last fall, opening the 91,000-square-meter shopping center on November 21.

The company will construct office and residential buildings in the second and third phases of the project.

TriGranit holds 80% of Roland Investment, the construction company that built Bonarka City Center, while Polish businessman Jacek Engel holds the remaining 20%. (MTI – Econews)
