The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade down 0.12% at 16,970.05.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was down 1.04% at HUF 3,225;

Drug company Richter was down 0.24% at HUF 34,865;

Oil and gas company MOL was up 0.55% at HUF 17,290;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.20% at HUF 510.

On Tuesday, the BUX closed down 0.88% to 16,989.98 on a turnover of HUF 12.41bn.
