Varga terms Kazakhstan visit ʼextraordinarily successfulʼ

Initiatives

Hungary’s National Economy Minister Mihaly Varga said in a press release Friday that the visit of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his delegation to Kazakhstan was "extraordinarily successful from the perspective of future economic ties".

According to the economy minister the visit was of "elevated importance from a strategic perspective". Varga noted that "an important part of expanding ties could be Hungarian companiesʼ participation in the modernization of Kazakhstanʼs farming sector and manufacturing industry, as well as in drug and health industry developments."

Varga said he believes that Hungary’s know-how in the automotive industry and technology exports offer “new” possibilities for both countries. The economy minister said one important result of the meeting was a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the area of vocational training that he signed with Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Aslan Sarinzhipov.
