Varga: NAV could prepare personal income tax returns
The Hungarian government is looking into the possibility of mandating the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) with the task of preparing personal income tax returns, National Economy Minister Mihály Varga told Hungarian state-owned Kossuth radio yesterday.
Though the minister stressed that decision on the matter has not been made, he said he supports the idea and believes that considering related legal and technical issues would make the change possible.
