The NFM offers tenders to replace old washing machines

The National Development Ministry (NFM) is offering HUF 500 mln non-refundable financial support to replace household washing machines in Hungary, as the continuation of tenders for new refrigerators, freezers, windows and boilers, the ministry said in a press release today.

Hungarians can apply for up to 50% of the purchase price of each washing machine, however, the maximum support on A+ machines is HUF 25,000, HUF 40,000 on A++ machines, while on A+++ it is HUF 45,000, the press release added. In addition, applicants have to certify that the property where they want to store the washing machine is their own.

The available gross HUF 500 mln in financial support would be distributed by region.

The National Development Ministry awaits tenders solely in electronic format at this web address, between July 1, 2015 and September 30, 2015. For further information please visit the official site of the Hungarian government.
