Szijjártó: Hungary gate to Europe for China
Hungary’s government aims to make the country the regional centre for Chinese companies doing business in Europe as well as the main transit route for Chinese goods bound for Western Europe, Hungary’s trade chief Péter Szijjártó said at a seminar on Friday, hvg.hu reported.
This goal is part of the government’s opening to the East policy, a product of Hungary’s experience during the global economic crisis as a small, open economy with a high degree of exposure to markets in Western Europe, the state secretary said.
