One child families to receive support
The Hungarian government is planning to spend HUF 4 bln in 2015 and HUF 9-10 bln in 2016 on a home-purchase support system for families with one child, Katalin Novak, state secretary in charge of family and youth affairs of the Human Resources Ministry said yesterday.
Families will be eligible for a grant of HUF 500,000 if they have one child, and the subsidy will be HUF 3.25 mln for three children. In the future, this funding can be used to purchase resale homes and for home extensions as well.
