MNB to provide SME support with HUF 37 bln endowment
The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) said yesterday that it will establish a "business innovation knowledge center" with an endowment of HUF 37 bln in order to support SMEs.
"Supporting the competitiveness of SMEs and strengthening high added-value employment is one of the basic conditions for ensuring a sustainable contribution to economic growth," the MNB said
The center will cooperate closely with the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, among other partners, to access more European Union funding for research in the areas of sustainable economic development.
