KSH: Foreigners spend slightly more in Hungary

According to the latest data published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH), foreign visitors arriving to Hungary last year spent slightly more money and time in the country as compared to the figures of the previous year.

The majority of the visitors arrived from Slovakia, Austria and Romania. In 2013 a total of 44 million tourists arrived to Hungary, 0.2% percent more than in 2012. The number of weekenders, which means foreigners spending 1-3 days in the country, rose by 10%, while holidays longer than four days rose by 3.8% according to the date published by the KSH.
