Hungary to introduce quality trademark for youth hostels

Analysis

Hungary's National Economy Ministry, which is in charge of tourism, is planning to introduce a quality trademark system for youth hostels, the Hungarian Youth Hostel Association (MISZSZ) said on Friday.

The association, the National Economy Ministry and state-owned tourism agency Magyar Turizmus will present the advantages of the system during a nationwide road show to be held between February and April.

The trademarks would be awarded based on a review of basic and supplemental services as well as the hostel's level of comfort.
