Hungary, Bosnia & Herzegovina ink farm pact

Int’l Relations

Hungary signed an agricultural agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina today, Hungarian news agency MTI reported. The agreement was signed by Hungary's farm minister Sándor Fazekas and Bosnia and Herzegovina's foreign trade minister Boris Tucic.

The agreement pays special attention to risk management, supermarket safety and questions of scientific cooperation, Fazekas told MTI. The agreement establishes a good foundation for further cooperation, he added.

Tucic expressed the appreciation of his country to Hungary for assistance offered in dealing with flood damage in May. He added that he hoped the two countries would soon sign a similar agreement in the area of tourism.
