Hungarian trading house opens in New York

History

The Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), set up by the Hungarian state with a mission to establish new opportunities for Hungarian companies on foreign markets, opened its first trading house in North America, in New York, National Development Minister Miklós Seszták said.

Representatives of 11 Hungarian companies were present at the opening, with three of the businesses showcasing their operations.

The trading house is the 27th of its kind set up by MNKH, Hungarian news agency MTI said, adding that another is expected to open in Canada, and more could be set up in other parts of the United States, depending on results of the enterprise there.
