Lithuania C/A Balance Switches to Surplus in Feb

Lithuania recorded a current account surplus of EUR 227.76 million in February, shifting from EUR 277.06 mln deficit in the corresponding month a year earlier, the central bank said on Thursday.

Services surplus increased to EUR 668.9 mln from EUR 397.97 mln a year ago.

Meanwhile, the goods deficit narrowed to EUR 323.77 mln from EUR 472.34 mln in the previous year.

Also, the primary income deficit shrank to EUR 124.28 mln from EUR 194.93 mln a year earlier, while secondary income switched to a EUR 6.91 mln surplus from EUR 7.76 mln gap.
