BUX loses 0.09% on decline from Richter

The Budapest Stock Exchange's BUX index closed Monday trade down 0.09% to 18,675.80 on a decline of nearly 1.8% from blue-chip drug company Richter.

The BUX lost 16 points on a composite exchange turnover of HUF 3.85 bln, or less than half of the BSE's year-to-date average daily trade of HUF 8.33 bln. The BUX fluctuated in a narrow, 0.77% range between an intra-session low of 18,578.38 at 9:25 a.m. and an intra-session high of 18,721.12 at 10:10 a.m.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Monday's closing bell:

Richter lost 1.79% to HUF 4,120 on a turnover of HUF 577 mln;

OTP was unchanged at HUF 4,380 on an exchange-high turnover of HUF 1.44 bln;

Oil and gas company MOL gained 1.35% to HUF 12,415 on a turnover of HUF1.31 bln;

Magyar Telekom advanced 0.27% to HUF 374 on a turnover of HUF 207 mln.

The BSE Big Four generated 91.8% of the exchange's composite Monday turnover.
