BUX falls 0.70%; MOL, MTel biggest losers
The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index fell 0.70% to 17,701.05 on Friday. Among the blue chips, oil and gas company MOL and Magyar Telekom were the biggest losers.
MOL lost 1.20% to HUF 11,925 on turnover of HUF 613 mln.
Magyar Telekom was down 1.97% at HUF 348. Turnover of the share came to HUF 751 mln.
OTP Bank dropped 0.30% to HUF 4,000. Turnover reached HUF 3.02 bln or almost 60% of the HUF 5.22 bln session total.
Drugmaker Richter edged down 0.12% to HUF 4,020.
The bourse's mid-cap BUMIX index finished down 0.24% at HUF 1,495.96.
Elsewhere in the region, Warsaw's WIG30 was down 1.36% and the Prague PX fell 1.07%.
Western Europe's biggest indices were also lower late on Friday.
On the week, the BUX lost 1.08% as OTP dropped 2.68%, MOL inched down 0.13%, MTel slid 4.66% and Richter fell 1.64%.
Turnover for the week totalled HUF 23.9 bln, down from HUF 30.9 bln in the previous week.
