Blue chip treasury shares changed minimally in September

The treasury share stocks of the Budapest Stock Exchange's four blue chip issuers changed relatively little in September, with the stock being slightly down for OTP, marginally up for Richter and MOL, and remaining unchanged for the Hungarian subsidiary of German Deutsche Telekom, Magyar Telekom.

OTP had 3,705,702 treasury shares at the end of September, down slightly from 3,794,813 month-on-month. The treasury shares accounted for 1.32% of OTP's registered capital at the end of September, compared to 1.36% month-on-month.

Drugmaker Richter had 375,608 treasury shares at the end of September, performing a slight month-on-month rise from 374,714. The treasury shares accounted for 0.2% of Richter's registered capital at the end of September, remainining unchanged from a month earlier.

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL had 2,842,147 treasury shares by the end of September, growing from 2,470,846 month-on-month. The treasury shares accounted for 2.72% of MOL's registered capital at the end of the month, up from 2.36% a month earlier.

Hungarian telecommunication company Magyar Telekom had 390,862 treasury shares at the end of September, remaining unchanged since the end of May. The treasury shares accounted for 0.04% of Magyar Telekom's registered capital.
