WIS Holding inaugurates sawmill
Hungary-based real estate developer WIS Holding inaugurated a sawmill supported with a HUF 981 mln state and European Union grant in Miskolc on Friday, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The sawmill is expected to be operated by a staff of 25 working a single shift to process approximately 14,000 cubic meters of wood in the following year. Annual output is expected to exceed 40,000 cubic meters by 2016, when a second shift is to be added, with headcount rising to 50-60.
