Toy seller Regioʼs revenue jumps as network expands
Hungarian toy seller Régió Játékkereskedelmi saw its net revenue rise by 40% to almost HUF 7 bln last year, following its takeover of failed competitor Gulliver, increasing store numbers by 50% to 33, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI.
The company added that it has taken over another five stores from peer Bambini. Webshop sales jumped by 30%, according to the company. Hungaryʼs toy market is estimated to be worth an annual HUF 35-40 bln, MTI noted.
