Take-up on Budapest prime office space market falls 17% in Q4

Take-up on the capital's prime office space market fell 17% to 100,300sqm in Q4 from the same period a year earlier, the Budapest Property Consultants Coordination Forum (BIEF) told MTI on Monday. Take-up for all of last year was down 13% at 344,977sqm. There were 3,196,400sqm of office space on the market at the end of the period, 22,950sqm more than twelve months earlier. The increase came from two inaugurates of a combined 20,600sqm in Q4. Vacancy was at 21%, 1.8 percentage points more than a year earlier.
