Sole-Mizo invests HUF 1.8bln
Hungarian dairy company Sole-Mizo is investing HUF 1.8 bln in its “túró” – a dairy product similar to cottage cheese – and yoghurt business, Sole-Mizo’s CEO István Herczeg announced today in Szeged.
Production of Túró will be boosted from a weekly 50-60 tons to 80-100 tons, the CEO said. The company was awarded a HUF 845 mln European Union and state grant for the investment.
The company’s sales exceeded HUF 42 bln last year. Approximately one-fourth of its sales revenue came from exports, mainly to Romania, the Arab states and Western Europe.
Sole-Mizo is a unit of Bonafarm, an agrobusiness group owned by OTP bank head Sándor Csányi.
