Sió-Eckes expects 4-5% revenue increase
Hungarian juice maker Sió-Eckes expects a 4-5% revenue increase this year, sales director János Barna told MTI on Friday. Revenue has been around HUF 9 bln for years, Barna said.
This year, Sió-Eckes will process about 13,000 tonnes of fruit, turning out 10,000 tonnes of juice and puree, the company says. Most of the fruit the company processes is locally grown, with purchases from Hungarian farmers adding up to HUF 3-3.5 bln. In 2015, Sio-Eckes plans to spend HUF 500-600 mln on new packaging equipment.
