Police investigate Arcadom on suspicion of fraud
The Budapest police launched an investigation against property developer Arcadom, which is owned by construction industry magnate Sándor Demján, on suspicion of fraudulent activities, Hungarian daily Népszabadság reported on Saturday.
The paper reported that three sub-contractors reported Arcadom for failing to pay them for work completed at a residential park in the capital, in spite of a court order. The police reportedly contacted the companies involved to produce documents by the end of May.
