Orbán, Suzuki introduce new SX4 compact
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited the Esztergom factory of Suzuki Motor Corporation on Friday to “drive” the first SX4 S-CROSS off the Hungarian assembly line. This compact will be internationally available, stated Suzuki Motor Corporation CEO Osamu Suzuki.
In speaking at the factory, Orbán stated that 25% percent of all suppliers to Suzuki Esztergom are Hungarian and that the factory helps “provide a livelihood for 30,000 Hungarian families.”
Orbán also promised that, per the strategic partnership agreement signed with Suzuki, a new road connecting Esztergom with the M1 highway as well as a new bridge crossing the Danube at Komárom would be completed by January 2017.
