MVM revenue climbs 30% in 2014

Consolidated revenue of the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM) rose almost 30% to HUF 1.195 trillion last year, the company said yesterday. EBITDA was practically flat at HUF 103 bln. Pre-tax profit came to HUF 6.5 bln. 

MVM had total assets of HUF 1.494 trillion at the end of December, up 5% from 12 months earlier. MVM and its units paid a combined HUF 102.4 bln to the state last year, though the company paid no dividend on last yearʼs earnings.
