Margit Palace Office extended by 3,200 sqm for EMEA
As a result of the latest building expansion, EMEA has become one of the principle tenants in the Margit Palace, occupying nearly 3,200 sqm of a GLA of 17,000 sqm, ConvergenCE announced today.
EMEA, the Hungarian subsidiary of international IT service provider Getronics, has been a tenant of Margit Palace since 2004.
The expansion project was managed by ConvergenCE, which is celebrating its 10th year as a leading developer and provider of project and property management in Budapest. Following modern trends, EMEA put an emphasis on large central breakout areas, and in order to create a unique atmosphere, all elements of design from wall coverings, to quality floor finishes and acoustic panels were built into these areas.
Given its prime location on the Buda side of the capital, a number of international companies have chosen Margit Palace to set up their offices, including Austrian-owned Hervis and Oberbank. The Hungarian subsidiary of the international wagon rental and rail logistics company, VTG Rail is also located here. ConvergenCE has been the exclusive asset manager for Margit Palace since 2007.
