Latvia Retail Sales Fall in February

Latvia's retail sales fell by 0.4% year-on-year in February, after a downwardly revised 1.2% decline in the previous month, figures released by the Riga-based Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) showed on Thursday.

Sales of food products were unchanged compared to the corresponding month from previous year, while, non-food products fell further ( -1.5% vs -1.3%) and retail sale of automotive fuel increased by less (1.7% vs 4.5%).

On a monthly basis, retail trade rose by 0.6%, following a 1.3% decline the previous month.
