Masterplast Books Q3 Loss
Listed building materials maker Masterplast had a third-quarter loss of EUR 598,000, amid weak demand and narrower margins, news wire MTI writes, citing an earnings report released ahead of the opening bell on Thursday.
Masterplast booked an after-tax profit of EUR 5,554,000 in the base period.
Third-quarter revenue fell 30pc year-on-year to EUR 38,301,000. EBITDA was a negative EUR 439,000.
Masterplast said market demand was expected to remain low until the start of renovation programs to boost building energy efficiency, but it augured positive EBITDA for the fourth quarter as strict cost management pays off.
Masterplast said it would not reach profit levels in earlier guidance and would revise the 2023 forecast based on year-end data, if necessary.
