Estonian Industrial Output Shrinks at Softer Pace in Oct
Estonia's industrial production shrank at a softer 12.2% year-on-year in October, following an upwardly revised 13% fall in the previous month, figures from the Tallinn-based Statistics Estonia (SE) on Monday show.
It was the seventeenth consecutive month of contraction in industrial production but the softest since July, as output decreased less for electricity, gas, steam & air-conditioning supply (-14% vs -37.6% in September).
Additionally, output rebounded sharply for mining (12.9% vs -0.3%).
Meanwhile, output further slipped for manufacturing (-12.6% vs -11.4%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 0.5% in October, slowing from an upwardly revised 3.4% fall in the previous month.
