Hungary insurance brokers have HUF 14.3 bln revenue from commissions last year
Members of the Hungarian Association of Insurance Brokers had 14.3 billion in revenue from commissions in 2011, association secretary general Anna Pálos Turczi told a conference in Siófok (C Hungary) on Sunday.
Insurance companies paid brokers HUF 1.46 billion in commissions on life insurance policies last year. Of this total, 29% came from the insurance company AXA, 23% came from CIG and 13% came from Generali, Turczi said.
Insurance brokers received HUF 12.8 billion in commission in the non-life segment in 2011. One-quarter of the total came from Allianz, 23% from Generali, and 11% from Uniqa.
The conference was held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the association.
