GVH acts against suspected household paper products cartel
Hungaryʼs Competition Office (GVH) announced today that it had launched a procedure against seven companies on suspicion of colluding to set prices on household paper products as substantiated by raids carried out at the stores, Hungarian news agency MTI said today.
The procedure is being launched against SCA Hygiene Products, Vajda-Papír, Tesco-Global Áruházak, Auchan Magyarország, Spar Magyarország, Metro Kereskedelmi and DM-Drogerie Markt.
The office has six months to complete the investigation, but may extend the deadline twice, by six months each time, MTI said.
