On the occasion of the first anniversary of its Global Operations Center in Budapest, GE is planning to expand the center, the company announced today in a press release. The expansion also involves doubling headcount, which is currently at 900, by adding roles in commercial, supply chain, legal and tax services, on top of the existing finance, IT, and HR over the next year, according to GE, which has been in Hungary for 25 years.

The potential roles require individuals with a good command of English in addition to a European language, as well as skills in commercial, supply chain, legal, tax, finance, IT and HR, the press release added.

According to the company, with 38 nationalities already among its staff speaking 29 languages, the Global Operations Center in Budapest is a uniquely diverse place to launch or enhance an international career.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
