foodpanda acquires Hungarian NetPincér

Leading food delivery service foodpanda acquired Hungarian peer NetPincér, according to a press realease issued by foodpanda yesterday. 

At the time of the acquisition, NetPincér had a partnership with 550 restaurant and this network is expected to grow by 126 following the sale, foodpanda stated. foodpanda also has plans in the pipeline to launch a mobile application in 2015 under the name NetPincér.

NetPincér began its operations in 1999 and has since become a market leader in its field, reporting revenues of HUF 455 mln in 2013, according to public records. foodpanda is present in 41 countries and entered the Hungarian market in 2013.
