Detki Keksz undertakes HUF 530 mln expansion at biscuits base

Hungarian biscuits maker Detki Keksz is spending more than HUF 530 million to expand its base in Halmajugra, marketing manager Marianna Lipusz Juhász told MTI on Friday. Detki Keksz will add 1,800 sqm of warehouse space and 800 sqm of production space at the base, Juhász said. The company won a HUF 217 million European Union and state grant for the investment. Detki Keksz is Hungary's second-biggest biscuits maker, generating annual turnover of HUF 3.8 billion. It employs about 140 people to turn out more than 9,000 tons of biscuits a year.
