Daimler marks production milestone in Hungary
German car manufacturer, Daimler turned out a quarter of a million cars at its Hungarian plant, which was inaugurated in the spring of 2012, Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary announced today.
The 250,000th car that rolled off the assembly line at the plant in Kecskemét (in central Hungary) was a silver, right-hand drive Mercedes-Benz CLA AMG that will be delivered to Japan.
Plant director Thomas Geier attributed the contribution of all the plant’s workers to this success. He also expressed gratitude to the company's Hungarian business partners and the local council of Kecskemét.
