Competition Office establishes M&A offices
Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Thursday announced the establishment of the Antitrust Office and the Merger Office.
The offices, which start operating on March 1, were set up in the interest of making the work of the GVH faster and more efficient.
With the Merger Office, the GVH seeks to speed up the review process for mergers and acquisitions, especially for simplified procedures, thus contributing to the reduction in businesses' bureaucratic burden. Setting up the Antitrust Office will help GVH to act in a more unified and efficient manner in competition related investigations.
