Allee closes successful year

Budapest shopping center Allee became a leading partner in the premium category shopping center segment last year by receiving nearly 17 million visitors and reaching an occupancy rate of almost 100%, the shopping center reported in a press release yesterday.

“Given the international brands being represented in Allee, Hungarian shops offering top-quality products, the mix of suitable tenants and their philosophy that comprehensively meets customer expectations, the number of visitors continue to increase year by year, and the occupancy rate of the center is nearly at 100%,” Renáta Kodadová asset manager of Allee said. “Last year, 11 new shops opened – Allee was the top choice for world-renowned brands among them Nespresso, Starbucks and Subway. The occupancy rate of the office blocks operating in the Allee building has also reached 100%,” she added.

“As one of the most important centers of style, elegance and fashion, Allee is a very unique shopping center in Hungary and is worthy of 21st-century expectations as far as its services, shops, architecture and new marketing philosophy are concerned,” André Galyas center manager of Allee Shopping Center said, adding that “We are very delighted to have been chosen by international brands whose high-quality merchandise and services meet a wide range of customers' expectations.”

The eleven new shops which opened in 2014 include Amnesia, Deichmann, KA&BA Cream Bar, Lufipark, Mustang, Lee, Wrangler, NaraCamicie, Nespresso, Profimed, Saxoo London, Starbucks and Subway. Seven existing tenants including Gas, Giudi, Maxima Shoes, Notebook.hu, Optic World, Samsonite and X-Class have moved to new locations within the mall.

In 2014, several activities formed part of the program of social responsibility undertaken by Allee. A special communication training and animal show for dogs and children was held in the spring. While during Advent season, a charitable event entitled “Love the size of a walnut” was organized to collect donations for the National Association of Large Families. This civil organization received HUF 100,000 in support during the event.
