Room Rates at HUF 14,400 for Summer Bookings in Capital

Room rates in Budapest average HUF 14,400 per guest per night for summer reservations, bookings site Szallas.hu said on Monday, according to state news wire MTI.
Budapest is the dearest destination for travelers, followed by Lake Balaton, where room rates average HUF 12,500 per guest per night, Szallas.hu said.
Rates around the "Hungarian sea" are up over 15% from a year earlier, it added.
Room rates around Lake Tisza, in the east of the country, have climbed close to 17%, but the area remains relatively cheap at just over HUF 9,300 per guest per night.
